CREATING A COLLAGE FINGER LABYRINTH
November 11th and 12th, 2019 from 9am - 12 noon and 2 - 5 pm both days
at the Liturgical Arts Conference
Would you like to take home your own one-of-a-kind collage finger labyrinth? In this two day workshop you will mindfully choose images, colors, textures and shapes to add to the winding path of a seven-circuit classical labyrinth.
The labyrinth is a metaphor for the journey of life and choosing and adding your own personal imagery to the path allows you to slowly spiral into the center as you glue the images in place. Once your collage is complete you will add texture between the path to define them. You can even bring your own personal photographs printed with a photocopier to add to the labyrinth path.
The completed labyrinth will be on a 12x12 background, so still small enough to fit in a suitcase and take with you.
Join Catherine to create this portable path to peace, a guide for your inner journey whenever and wherever you need it.
You can find out more information about this event here.
The Conference is held at the Gray Center near Jackson, Mississippi. It sits on 750 beautiful acres in the heart of the lush Mississippi countryside. And there is a beautiful labyrinth on the property.
