Finding a Still Center in Shifting Times:
Using the SoulCollage® process for Balance, Resilience, and Inner Guidance
with Catherine Anderson and Kiala Givehand

We are living in a time of profound change. The pace of life, the uncertainty of the world, and the complexity of our personal journeys can sometimes leave us feeling pulled in many directions at once.

Yet within each of us there is a quiet center — a place of steadiness that remains even when everything around us seems to be shifting.

In this 90-minute online SoulCollage® gathering, we will explore creativity as a way of returning to that center. When we slow down and engage the imagination, something within us begins to settle. Our nervous system softens, our inner wisdom becomes easier to hear, and we remember that we are part of a much larger unfolding story.

Using the intuitive process of SoulCollage®, we will create a card that gives voice to an inner presence or energy moving within us now. Our cards will help us gently explore questions such as:

  • “What does my quiet center want me to know?”

  • “What helps me remember my center when life begins to spin?"

  •  "What helps my body settle and feel safe?"

SoulCollage® invites us into a creative dialogue with our own soul — a way of listening to the deeper currents shaping our lives. This creative practice is a container not only for regulating your nervous system, but for listening to your inner wisdom.

No artistic experience is needed. Whether you are new to SoulCollage® or a longtime practitioner, you are warmly welcome.

 HOW TO REGISTER

To attend this workshop you need to register through World of SoulCollage® (WOSC) which is the same as establishing a free account. Your email will only be used for reminder notifications of this event. Register and RSVP using this link.

How to Prepare

This workshop is for SoulCollage® enthusiasts of all levels. No art experience is needed, just your openness to explore!

If you are new to SoulCollage® and would like to start making cards and growing your deck, we invite you to explore our Free SoulCollage® Basics course, including this 6-minute card making video by our Founder, Seena Frost.  There is also a specific lesson on How to Make a SoulCollage® Card in Five Easy Steps.

What to Bring

  • For making a card, gather images that catch your eye.  These can be copies of photos, magazine images, symbolic images, etc.

  • Also bring images to complete your card including images of backgrounds, and other embellishments/misc., etc.  It's helpful to have images presorted in their own piles: people, backgrounds, animals, miscellaneous images, each in their own pile.

  • SoulCollage® Card Making Supplies including scissors, glue stick, at least one 5”x7” or 5”x8” card of matboard, card stock, or an index card, and a matching size paper or cardstock frame. If you are in South African, you can use a size A5 card. (You can use any of your own sourced materials or find SoulCollage® materials HERE), or contact a provider in your country.

  • Journal, or paper and pen
