COSMIC CREATIVITY: STARDUST, IMAGINATION AND THE LABYRINTH

REGISTRATION LINK COMING SOON!

The universe is a dance of creativity, and each of us moves as a vital part of its rhythm. We create with the cosmos, through the imaginal realm, and in relationship with all that has shaped us.

Join cosmologist Stephan Martin and Catherine Anderson for a journey into the living conversation between cosmos and creativity, using the labyrinth as an embodied pathway into the unfolding story of the universe.

Drawing on lading-edge astronomy, the New Cosmology, and contemplative approaches to the night sky, and inspired by Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme’s vision of a universe alive with allurement, creativity, and communion, Stephan will help us explore creativity as more than a human capacity. We will consider it as a fundamental power of the universe, expressed through the formation of stars and galaxies, the emergence of life, and our own capacity to imagine, respond, and bring something new into being.

Throughout our time together, the labyrinth will become a place of deep listening and unfolding insight. Through a series of facilitated labyrinth walks, we will bring these cosmic themes out of the realm of ideas and into our lived experience—walking with allurement, uncertainty, emergence, relationship, and the mystery of becoming. We will ask what it might mean to say yes to the Great Work of co-creation, participating more consciously in the shaping of a compassionate, vibrant, and life-giving world.

Following our walks, we will use the intuitive practice of SoulCollage® to listen more deeply to what has been stirred within us. Images can give form to what may initially be difficult to name, allowing insights from the labyrinth to emerge, deepen, and become integrated into our lives. In this way, walking and image-making become complementary practices: one experienced through the body and the path, the other through imagination and creative expression.

No previous artistic or SoulCollage® experience is needed. All supplies, including a generous collection of evocative images, will be provided.

This retreat is an invitation to walk, listen, imagine, and create—to notice the sacred impulses seeking expression through you, to follow the threads of allurement that draw you forward, and to discover your own place in the ever-evolving story of creation.

Join us at the meeting place of cosmos, labyrinth, and imagination, where walking the path can awaken new ways of seeing, being, and creating.

ENTERING THE GREAT STREAM: ALIGNING WITH COSMIC CREATIVITY

An emerging understanding from both leading-edge science and spirituality reveals the universe not simply as a place or a thing, but as an ongoing process of creativity and emergence. These two interconnected retreats invite us to enter more deeply into that great stream and explore how our lives, aspirations, and imaginations participate in the unfolding creativity of the cosmos.

In Discovering and Living the New Cosmology, we will explore the larger story of an evolving, sacred universe and consider its meaning for our spirituality and daily lives. In Cosmic Creativity, we will bring these insights into embodied experience through the labyrinth, imagination, and creative expression.

While each retreat offers a meaningful experience on its own, together they create a fuller journey from understanding the new cosmology to living and expressing its creative possibilities. Join us for both retreats and discover new sources of wonder, inspiration, and creativity, along with a deeper sense of your own place within the unfolding story of the universe.
